Admissions Requirements
Admission Requirements for all Prospective Students:
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- Must complete a personal interview at the school
- Valid photo ID (Driver's License, State ID card, Passport)
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (a) an official copy of High School Transcript with graduation date, (b) an official copy of College Transcript indicating the basis of the applicant's admission into the college program as being high school graduation, (c) a copy of GED, or (d) a passing score (745) on our TABE Ability to Benefit (ATB) exam
- Two (2) photographs (Passport size)
Documents Needed for Registration of International Students:
- Current, valid Passport
- Copy of High School Diploma or an official copy of High School transcript (either document provided must be translated into English and must be notarized by an authorized translator)
- Tourist Visa (if you plan to enroll in a short course under 18 hours per week). In some instances, a Tourist Visa is not required for entry into the United States
- M-1 Student Visa for long-term study
- Two (2) photographs (Passportsize)
Transfer Credits
A student seeking credit for previous education must supply a copy of the diploma, license and/or transcript from previous school. Credit will be issued based on the evaluation of these materials and a complete theory and skills assessment exam. The results of this assesment will be forwarded to the New York State Education Department and returned with an approval stamp. Credit will be given only for hours approved by the State Board. Please note that not all credits are approved by the State Board.
